Nell Schofield graduated from the NIDA Acting course in 1985 and the Playwrights Studio in 1987. For the past ten years, she has presented films on the subscription television channel SHOWTIME and is currently the film reviewer for Channel Nine’s Sunday program. She writes weekly classic film reviews for Melbourne’s Sunday Herald Sun and hosts the monthly design forum Dfactory at Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum.

Nell has worked with CNN as a guest presenter for their programs The Art Club and Hot Spots and was a reporter on ABC TV’s weekly arts program Review. For many years she worked as a producer and presenter for ABC Radio National on shows such as Arts Today and Breakfast. She was the Director of the inaugural Mercedes Australian Fashion Week Festival and served as Associate Producer on two documentaries for Channel 4 in the UK. Her voice is heard on the popular TV show Media Watch and she regularly works as an MC for a range of high profile events. Nell is also widely recognised for her role in the cult classic Puberty Blues.
